Reduced puncture resistance
In intravitreal injections, where ophthalmic needles are often used, a 30G needle is generally used (according to the Guidelines for Intravitreal Injection), and in many cases, multiple punctures are performed.
Our atraumatic ophthalmic microneedles are available in ultrafine 31G and 34G to minimize tissue damage to the sclera and other tissues caused by puncture and to reduce resistance during puncture.
The needle tip is a lancet point with fine sharpness, and the needle tube is a thin-walled type. Compared to general ophthalmic needles, puncture resistance is lower, which minimizes pain and fear for the patient.
Also, there is almost no backflow from the puncture site at the time of removal.

Minimization of puncture hole enabled with our unique technology
The precise processing with our unique technology minimizes the size of the puncture hole, enabling a minimally invasive and smooth puncture.
