Shape of needle tip
The shape of needle tip is Lancet Point for achieving smooth and stable puncture. Its angle is ground for optimal puncture into thick skin of large animals.
Preventional treatment for needle loosening
Since preventional treatment is added on the needle end surface, it can use in relief without falling off of needle by weight of infusion tube or quick motion of animals.
Adapter
The adapter is designed to be easy to grip so that the force is transmitted to the tip of the needle smoothly. And as there is the direction mark on the adapter, user can identify the bevel face easily.
Infusion tube
In order to keeps stable infusion and usability, we selected the flexible material which enable to avoid blockage by bending.
Puncture
As large animal’s skin is very thick, high puncture performance is required. Unisis designed the needle focusing on not only large bore but also high puncture performance. We have actually conducted a puncture test using pork skin and confirmed puncture performance equivalent to or better than the ones of other companies.
